Every other vendor sells you a roll of PDLC film and a measuring tape. We design your space around it — then install it. Hire anyone else and you're hiring a salesman to do an architect's job.
Architerrax Studio · Indore
FrostFlip isn't a film importer that woke up one day and decided to talk about architecture. It's the other way around. Architerrax is an architecture and technology consultancy based in Indore — we've been designing real buildings, real interiors, real light for real clients long before we ever laminated a roll of PDLC.
FrostFlip is what happened when that studio looked at the switchable-glass market in India and didn't like what it saw: film dealers with no design training, selling a technical product as a lifestyle gadget. So we built the film company an architecture practice would have built.
That sentence is the entire pitch. Every other vendor in this category sells film. We design spaces around it.
Sight lines get studied before a panel is quoted. Light studies decide which walls actually need switching and which don't. Switching zones get mapped to how the room is really used — not sold as one blanket switch because that's easier to invoice. Wiring gets routed at the design stage, before the false ceiling closes, not fished through it afterward. Junction details get resolved the way an architect resolves a junction — so the finished wall reads as intentional glass architecture, not a film sticker on someone else's mistake.
A vision from architecture, not a roll of film.
We're strongest where we started: North India. Delhi NCR, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Indore see the deepest concentration of our design-led installs — and the crew, the film and the process travel pan-India from there, to any city with a project worth doing properly.
An actual architect visits the site — not a salesperson. We look at daylighting, sight lines and how the room is really used.
Switching zones get mapped, wiring gets routed on paper, and every junction detail gets resolved before glass is ordered.
A certified crew executes the design — panel breaks land on mullions, cabling disappears into the frame line, nothing is fished through a closed ceiling.
Film rated for 10+ years and 10 million+ switch cycles, backed by a team that designed it in and knows exactly how it was installed.
